Wagon and Farm Tools Museum
Wagon and Farm Tools Museum
TOMELLOSO
An ethnographic museum built in the 1960s shows us how farmers worked the land and made wine a few decades ago.
In the museum, as well as a typical kitchenette, numerous farm implements are preserved. But the jewel of this museum is the “bombo”, which represents a particular type of rural construction in Tomelloso, built using the dry stone technique. More than 2,000,000 stones were used in its construction. The efforts made by the Asociación de Amigos del Museo del Carro and the City Council are precious, as they have made it possible to accumulate a very diverse and ancient ethnographic collection displayed with great skill.
