Penarroya Castle

It is one of the fortresses that are still preserved in the territory that the Knights Hospitaller owned in La Mancha, the area known as the Campo de San Juan.

It is located 12 km from Argamasilla de Alba, in the direction of Las Lagunas de Ruidera, and it represents the entrance to the Natural Park. Next to it we find the Centro de Información e Interpretación Comarcal (Regional Information and Interpretation Centre), where you can learn about the geographical, historical and natural context of our land.
