CAMPO DE CRIPTANA

In this museum, you can see the history and culture of Campo de Criptana from its origins to the construction of the emblematic windmills, the hallmark of the town, of La Mancha and also of Spain. You can also see the winning works in the different editions of the National Painting Competition of Campo de Criptana.

The museum is divided into three different spaces, two permanent spaces (archaeology and painting) and a room for travelling and temporary exhibitions.

The 16th century Municipal Granary received the prestigious Europa Nostra award in 1997 as recognition for the best restoration of a building of historical-artistic interest of this nature.
