El Toboso celebrates Carnival as one of the most popular and participative festivals nowadays.
The celebration of the Carnivals starts earlier than in most of the surrounding villages, more precisely on the weekend closest to the 17th to the 20th of January.
These festivities are celebrated in honour of the patron saints San Sebastián and San Antón, and also in honour of the latter saint, the traditional and popular mule and horse races decked out in their best harness.
