From 31st August to 9th September, Socuéllamos celebrates the Harvest Festival, an appointment with the traditions and culture of a town whose history is based on the world of wine. In honour of the Virgen de Loreto, the celebrations begin with the offering of the first grape harvest must to the patron saint, and from that moment, all kinds of activities take place during those days.

Activities as various as the already famous Gachas Contest, the Outdoor Fast Painting Contest, the Folklore Festival, and the Socuéllamos National Wine Tasters Contest, as well as the popular contests of tractor, zurra, grape treading and grape bunch competitions, which are held in Loreto Park.

There is also a tasting of Migas Gigantes and the now legendary night-time walking route through the vineyards, which takes place every year in one of the many wineries located in the municipality, paired dinners… a whole world of entertainment these days revolving around wine.
