COECLM, an organisation of fundamental importance in the wine sector, continues its mission to promote the culture of wine and to share all kinds of knowledge about this sector. This is why it is involved in the organisation of all kinds of events, courses and activities of great interest to the wine-growing world.

All this, for the same final objective; to defend the interests of the Members, to ensure their support, protection and service. As an institutional representation, COECLM seeks to prevent intrusion in the profession and to ensure the ethics, professionalism and responsibilities of its professionals before the institutions. In addition to other objectives of administrative nature, R&D, standards and programmes, regulation of the profession and ensuring the quality and safety of the oenological-health sector.

Among the activities promoted and proposed by the institution we can find the organisation of training sessions, prizes and awards; the representation of the institution by attending official events such as national wine fairs; training in oenology through university degrees and master’s degrees and other activities focused on the promotion of culture.

Finally, we would like to highlight the Congresses, which after the success of the 1st Congress, COECLM took the initiative to hold a second edition, supporting and strengthening all the activities of the previous one, and introducing some new ones. All this, to continue to fulfil the mission and objectives that this entity has had since its beginning.

In 2016 and 2017, the Official College of Oenology of Castilla-La Mancha held its first events with the biggest repercussions at a regional level. First with the 1st Congress of the Colegio Oficial de Castilla-La Mancha and the next year with the Premios Excelencia Vinos de Albacete (Albacete Wines Excellence Awards). In this way, the College continues with its mission to promote wine culture and to foster all kinds of knowledge about this sector through the participation and organisation of all kinds of events, courses, participations and other activities of interest.
